In this treatment, insertion of pigment into the skin’s top layers is performed using a tattoo machine designed for pixelization or dotting techniques. The results create full, arched, saturated, and dramatic eyebrows. The effect is ombre since the inner part of the eyebrows is lighter and gradually gets darker towards the tail because of a particular saturation pattern the artist follows during the pixelization.

Compared to microblading where individual strokes mimic the natural hair strokes, with ombre powder eyebrows, tiny dots created to follow a specific saturated pattern achieve a light to dark finish with a more dramatic, more opaque, and solid shade.
